 All the objective entities we see (including space, objects) are the products that our brains suture for us. As our eyeballs rotate, vision provides countless focal points, which are stitched by the brain, then produce the “space” that we think has a vanishing point. In this case, the "absolute space" that we think actually is by no means absolute.

-In the works, the artist abstracts and concludes objective entities into a coordinate system to represent different focus elements. The perspective of each focus element is different (in real life it is indeed different), which cannot form the "absolute space" with a vanishing points which we got used to nowadays. Is space only exist when there is a unified vanishing point? But the vanishing point actually does not exist in the real world. The purely fictional "perspective vanishing point" was originally a concept that invented for generalizing in the Renaissance era. Why does it still frame the border of painting today?

所有我们所见的客观实体(包括空间,物体)都是我们的大脑为我们缝合的产物,随着我们眼球的转动,视觉提供了无数个焦点,由大脑进行缝合,才产生了我们自认为的,有消失点的 “空间”。为了认识我们周遭的世界,我们的目光跳跃,扫视,这样的持续运动每秒钟都会停顿几次,集中于某一个目标, 然后开始寻找下一个兴趣点。而我们以为的“绝对空间”绝不是绝对的。

-在作品中,艺术家将所见事物抽象成坐标系统,以代表不同的焦点元素,每一个焦点元素的透视都不一样(实际生活中每个物体的透视也确实不一样),无法组成我们日常所认为的有消失点的“绝对空间”,但这何尝又不是空间呢。只有存在统一消失点的空间才是空间吗?这在真实世界本就不存在,纯虚构的“透视消失点”本来就是文艺复兴时期为了概括所发明的概念,难道还应该在今天框死绘画的边界吗。
