The air flow passed the small ball in the whistle and squeezed at the vent to make a sharp sound. When the whistle is not used correctly, it is a quiet object without any external vigilance. But at the same time it has the potential to make meaning.

Is this series of displayed on the wall the "remains" of the whistle? The original form has the same shape, but because of external violence, each individual is given a brand new change. We define the "remains" of "lost its original meaning" or more broadly "heritage", is it just that we have not put it in the corresponding context to understand, but preconceived it imposes our subjective consumption orientation on it? ——We hope it is weak and outdated, so we can sympathize and remember it in order to move ourselves.

气流经过哨子中的小球,在出气孔处挤压发出尖锐的声音。哨子在没有受到正确的使用时,是一个安静的、外在没有任何警醒作用的物件。但同时又拥有产生意义的潜力。

这一连串被挂在墙上展示的,是哨子的“遗体”吗?原本拥有千篇一律的形态却因为外界暴力而导致每一个个体被赋予了全新的改观。我们所定义的“丧失了原有意义”的“遗体”或更广义上的“遗产”,是否只是我们未曾置之于相应语境中去理解,而先入为主在其身上强加了我们主观的消费导向——我们希望它是弱势的,是过时的,因此我们才能为了感动自己才去同情,才去缅怀。
